Consumer requirements for the quality of packaging materials are constantly increasing, therefore, consumers require suppliers of packaging materials to comply with certain standards to ensure the quality and safety of products.
Since 2017 LLC Sirius Extrusion is certified according to the ВRC standard (Global Standard for Packaging Materials). The scope of certification according to this standard includes the production of multilayer packaging films, packaging materials and packaging label materials, bags made of polymer and combined materials and the production of stretch film.
ВRC is an international food safety standard that guarantees that products meet generally accepted quality and hygiene requirements. The standard was developed by the British Retail Consortium in 2001 with the aim of protecting consumer rights and creating a unified system of norms for manufacturers and suppliers of products. By combining a number of existing international norms, the BRC standard has become extremely important for virtually all retailers in Europe.
In February 2023, LLC Sirius Extrusion successfully passed the next certification audit in accordance with the requirements of the new 6 version of the ВRC standard and received the highest grade "AA". This proves that the company meets the requirements of leading companies within the framework of the food safety management system recognized by the world market and our customers can be confident in the quality of the products we manufacture.
The ВRC certificate means that the manufacturer's products are controlled according to three main indicators:
- compliance with the requirements of the HACCP system (food safety of products);
- availability of an effective quality management system;
- constant monitoring of equipment, processes and staff.
In addition, the presence of the ВRC certificate is one of the main requirements for the possibility of exporting products to Europe and the world, as well as, accordingly, the expansion of product markets. The presence of the BRC certificate allowed LLC Sirius Extrusion to establish cooperation in the sale of our products with such countries as the Baltic countries, Poland, Germany, Great Britain, Denmark, Sweden, Hungary, Slovakia, Israel and others.
The production of stretch films is certified according to the ISO 9001: 2015 standard and the FSSC 22000 certification scheme, which allows us to cooperate with the leading enterprises of Ukraine, Europe and Asia.
In addition, since 2019, the products of LLC Sirius Extrusion have been certified according to the Halal standard, which confirms the compliance of the products with Shariah requirements.
Certification in accordance with the above standards enables the company to consistently produce safe products and ensure product compliance with consumer requirements and applicable legal requirements.
